Based 35kms from Tallinn in Estonia, Oru Farm OÜ was established in 2006 when we took over the rose growing business which had been here for 15 years. We continued growing and selling cut roses for 3 seasons but in 2008 we started growing herbs and lettuce. We decided to concentrate on the new business and created the brand name Hansa Herbs. From 2019 to 2022, with financial support from PRIA, we completed an expansion to the greenhouse including the installation of an automated gutter moving system, a dehumidifier, computer upgrade, water tanks, transport trollies, a fertiliser machine, a generator and an automatic sowing line. The goal of the project is to make the work process more efficient and to modernise the production using the latest technology. |
